Thanks for sharing your visions for your potential PhoTobin Photography session! It was fun to read how each of you pictures the way you want to look and we can't wait to see how the winner brings her vision to her photos . The randomly selected winner of the Essie gift pack is Sara Forsting and we know she'll look as natural, relaxed and beautiful as she possibly can if she happens to take home the grand prize. Congrats Sara!
We understand that many of you may be nervous at the very thought of winning this amazing grand prize but we hope any fears were eased last week by sharing our own experience (including our 'before' photo!) and having Sarah explain her passion for helping each person 'bloom' in front of the camera. But just in case there are some lingering negative thoughts about having your photo taken, we are going to do a little exercise together; a little focusing on the positive can really change your whole game. And for those of you who can't wait to get in front of the camera? First of all, good for you! Second, this challenge will be a piece of cake.
This is the final challenge...winner of today's challenge and the grand prize will be announced on Friday morning! We. Can't. Even. Wait.
Today's Challenge
Do you have great hair? An adorable dimple? Killer eyes? The truth is everyone has at least one feature about themselves that they like, it sometimes just takes a bit to remember what it is! Tell us yours and you could be randomly selected to receive a $50 Bloom gift certificate and, of course, everyone's name goes in the hat for the big one.

My smile:)
Weirdly enough, my calves. They are strong and muscular, and because they are often hidden under pants, deceiving. I’ve always kind of liked that I have an unusual hidden strength that propels me through the day….
A whole lotta “love” that’s shared by my three children, husband and two dogs!! Thanks for the amazingly fun challenges!
I am going to say dimples too. They are the one thing that have stayed with me through all the pregnancies (I have had 4 kids!) And the only way to see them is to make me smile! :)
I actually love my scar around the outter corner of my right eye. I got it while falling forward on the stone steps when I was four. I don’t remeber being in the hospital but my uncle and aunt tell me all the time that they came to see me. You can’t see it at first glance but its actually quite deep and I think it gives my face character and street cred..haha
My big blue eyes. My son inherited them too :)
My eyes…they are expressive and seem to change with my mood (and what I wear of course).
Great question! I love my brain. Without out it I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today. Yet alone alive! Lol
May seem strange, but I have always liked my shoulders… they are not big and pumped up, they are feminine with a few freckles from the sun. When ever a photo is taken I inadvertently lift one or both of my shoulder – I guess I want them to get the spotlight too!
I love my eye colour and legs. Blue and long.
My thick lips! When I was little, my grandpa used to say that thick lips = foodie! Now I certainly lived up to his prediction!
My mom told me when I was little, that when I was born I didn’t have a name for quite a few days. I was called “bright eyes” until the name Jennifer was chosen. To this day, I get compliments on my eyes and how they change from light blue, to piercing gray, to green. And they are real, I always say. No contacts. I am so lucky to have these eyes that show my soul. No hiding here. =)
I’ve always gotten compliments on my lips and smile :) I’m happy to say I won’t ever need lip plumper!
My hair. I have had pixie short cuts, & right now it is down to my mid back. Whatever colour, style I have sported I am always happy with (big thanks to so many talented stylists) I think it has great body & texture. Also huge bonus throughout pregnancy as it was even thicker &shinnier then usual.
Good hair has come in especially handy the last 10 weeks with a newborn , I don’t even use a hair dryer or product & it still looks done.
Now if only that could be said for the rest of me ..ha ha
One day my boyfriend commented “you have beautiful eyes, and you do them up very well” (with make-up). It was funny because I had always disliked my eyes, but hearing his comment made me look in the mirror in a different way and truly love my exotic eyes :)
Eyelashes:)
My strength. I train hard for sports which works against me when trying on jeans etc but something I value. Love my strong muscular legs..they power me through every day and I hope this is something my girls can role model after me instead of thinking critically of their bodies..so I loved this last challenge…focus on positive is a great way to wrap up and very fitting to you both who are ALWAYS so positive.
I would have to say my smile :)
I am always getting compliments from people on how much they love my smile :)
(it’s more often than not also accompanied by my giggles, so that might have something to do with it, too! :P)
The shape of my legs. Even going up and down on the scale, my legs always seem to maintain a nice shape (which I’m very grateful for).
I actually really like my feet. My toes go in a nice line all the way from big toe to pinkie toe. Right now they have a wicked flip flop tan line, and I think I’ll paint them OPI’s Green-wich Village today.
Thank you Bloom ladies for having the best and most fun contests!
I have super shiny, thick, virgin, aubourn hair. I’ve never seen anyone else with my colour, but lots who are trying to get it! Somehow I got through my teenage years without giving in to the urge to dye it (pink!!??) and I hope I can convince my daughters to do the same:)
I love my hands because my mom and I are “hand twins” and they look exactly the same. Whenever I look at my hands I am reminded of her and the special bond that she and I have and it makes me happy <3
I would have to say my hair eyes. I have nice long eyelashes and they are nice and dark. Don’t need to wear mascara!!!
I would have to say my hair. I have a stylist who I allow to do whatever she wants. Colour/Cut…you name it. This week is copper with some blonde highlights. It makes me feel amazing and gives me a confidence boost.
My hands. Not to pull a George Constanza but I’ve been told I should be a hand model lol
My toes!!!! Maybe its because i have these awesome cupcakes on them!! I actually noticed when sheena told me i had great toes! Hahaha! I love wearin my flip flops to show them off so the world can see!!!
What a fun question you’ve saved until the end! Force people to think about what makes them beautiful – I love it!
I’ve always loved my eyes, because they’re not only mine. My immediate family members all have blue eyes, but I have green ones—identical to my grandmother’s. My dear grandmother passed away yesterday afternoon, but I’ll always have her reflection looking back when I take a boo in the mirror.
When I was younger people used to say you should model,I was to shy,but when I started taking my daughter for auditions I still would get told I should model,I guess I see my eye’s as my favorite part (sexy, suttle, they smile with me)always wanted to do a photo shoot but yes to shy well this might change it all if I win the draw my shyness might “BLOOM” Happy 15th Anniversary :)good luck to everyone.
My eyes, which match my mother’s and my grandfather’s.
Well it used to be my stomach. I loved it, it was flat, showed some muscle tone with not much effort/exercise. Since having twins, it isn’t of course what it used to be but I am determined to get it back.
Ahhhh I’m already sad that it’s over – just like I was at Christmas time. It’s been a ‘blooming’ fun 15 days (hehe) so firstly thanks for keeping me entertained and looking forward to the next day’s challenge. Secondly big congrats on your birthday and here’s to another 15!!
So for today’s challenge….the one thing I like about myself now (but I didn’t always like it!!) are my dimples. I have four; two on my left cheek, one on my right and one kinda under my chin. I hated them when I was younger because I was pretty chubby and I thought that only fat kids had dimples. Stupid right!?
But as I grew older and lost my baby fat, my dimples stuck around and they just kinda work for me. I like that they make me a little different. There’s not a lot that makes you stand out from the crowd these days. That and my husband just loves them which makes me love them.
My eyes, definitely. But what i think i love more is the fact that i see their shape and some of their colour in my daughters as well ;)
I have big brown puppy dog eyes
